This year’s 11th Annual Plein Air (Anywhere) Paint Out Online Auction will be held online beginning Saturday, September 5 at 5PM. Participants will have the chance to preview artwork in person at View or online the days leading up to the event.

The 5PM Online Auction will be preceded from 4-5PM by a Live Online Preview hosted by Linda Weal, who serves on the Plein Air Paint Out Committee. Linda will introduce some of the paintings up for auction and share more information about the artists. From August 29 to September 4 during View’s hours — 10AM to 4PM — you can see consignment (pay and take) and auction paintings in-person or at any time online.

On Saturday, September 5, consignment and auction paintings will be on view from 10AM – 2PM. Bidding will be done online starting at 5PM — using your cell phone or computer. You will register online to be able to bid — and View’s team will assist you if needed, just call (315-369-6411 x206) or stop by!

The auction will continue for five days, until 5PM on September 10. During that time you can still see the paintings in-person and online to track and continue to bid. Check ViewArts.org for more details on how to register and participate as we get closer to the auction dates.

Date Reminder:

August 29 – September 4: Preview consignment and most auction paintings in person or online
September 5: 10AM to 2PM in-person preview of all paintings, 4PM to 5PM Live Online Preview, 5PM auction bidding opens.
September 5 – 10: Online auction bidding with paintings available to see in-person at View or online. Consignment paintings available (pay and take)
September 10: Bidding closes at 5PM
