Central Adirondack Kiwanis is partnering with The Marine Corp League “Toys for Tots” program to collect and distribute toys to special families in Woodgate, White Lake, Otter Lake, Thendara, Old Forge, Eagle Bay, Inlet, Raquette Lake, Long Lake and Indian Lake. This very worthwhile program provides gifts and toys to over 200 families in the Central Adirondack Region.
Gift and toy collection locations are at the following: Adirondack Bank, Community Bank, Dan’s Big M, George’s Thing, Inlet Department Store (ACE), Kinney Drugs, Old Forge Department Store (ACE), Old Forge Hardware, Smith Marine and Souvenir Village. Gift and toy collection sites are also at the following Post Offices: Old Forge, Eagle Bay, Inlet, Thendara and Woodgate.
Please consider leaving a new, unwrapped gift or toy at any one of the collection sites. The collection period runs until Monday, December 15, 2014. The community is also welcome to join the Town of Webb School Key Club & Kiwanis to the gift wrapping party scheduled for Wednesday, December 17th at 3:00 p.m. at VIEW.
