Looking for some fun family activities while visiting Old Forge? The area has some great ongoing summer activities that are suitable for all ages! The Northeast National Pastel Exhibition is on display at View through early August offering works from some of the nation’s most noteworthy pastel artists.  In addition to the breathtaking exhibits at View, Old Forge also hosts the First Friday Art Walks that take place the first Friday of every month.  There you will find a selection of artists displaying their works for all to enjoy. Get your creative juices flowing with some hands-on activities while you’re there! Stop by the Old Forge lakefront every Sunday evening to take in the beautiful scenery and enjoy a free concert! Bring a chair or a blanket to sit back and enjoy the show – you may even find yourself getting up to dance! Feeling lucky? Take the gang to the Old Forge Fire Hall for some Monday night BINGO – raffles, refreshments & some traditional family fun! While you’re here – don’t forget to shop local! In addition to the many unique gift shops & eateries that line Main Street, we also host the Old Forge Farmer’s Market every Friday afternoon.  Enjoy fresh produce & baked goods that are all locally grown.  You’ll never be at a loss for entertainment in Old Forge – whether you’re interested in music & arts or shopping & unique dining experiences, Old Forge is sure to have something you’re looking for!
