Let it Snow

It’s time to get the gang in the holiday spirit – and there’s no better way than to head up to Old Forge for Let it Snow weekend! (12/5-12/7). Get away from all the hustle & bustle and escape to the Adirondacks for a relaxing & fun-filled getaway. Kick off your weekend by visiting View Arts to watch Warren Miller’s skiing/snowboarding film, No Turning Back. View will have door prizes & giveaways, so you won’t want to miss out! Holiday spirit goes into full gear on Saturday with an early morning visit from Santa Claus! Santa will be at the Water’s Edge Inn to hand out candy canes and greet all of his friends! Be sure not to forget your camera for this! Spend your day on the Main Street of town, dining at a local restaurant or partaking in one of the workshops at View. End your evening back at the Water’s Edge Inn with some specialty shopping where local retailers will feature some of their best holiday gift items – check items off of your Christmas shopping list or maybe treat yourself to an early gift! Finish your stay on Sunday by busting out your fun holiday tutus and costumes to participate the most festive Let it Snow 5k Run/Walk of the Adirondacks! Not up for the run? That’s ok – the participants love to have enthusiastic friends cheering them on from the sidelines! Lastly, be sure to stop at View Arts before heading out of town to see a live performance of the Sound of Music!
