The 2015 McCauley Mountain Winter Carnival will be the weekend of February 13th-14th. The festivities kick off on Friday with $12 lift tickets and lunch specials at the ski lodge.  There will be a Valentines Parade down Main Street starting at 6:45 Friday evening followed by a bonfire and hot cocoa at the outdoor ice skating rink.  The carnival continues on Saturday with the 15th Annual Kiwanis Winter Sports Challenge Snowshoe/Cross Country Skiing Event. There will be special nighttime skiing on Playmate from 5-7pm.  Enjoy the rest of the evening with live music performed by Joe Bolton and John Christy followed by the coronation of the year’s king & queen, a fireworks show and some special ski events!  The night will end with the Sweethearts Dance at 8pm in the chalet – don’t forget your dancing shoes! Finish off a great weekend with the 61st Annual Snowflake Derby starting at 12noon on Sunday sponsored by the Polar Bear Ski Club.  The very last event of the weekend will be the Cardboard sled race starting at 3pm sponsored by the Town of Webb Junior Class.
